Medicins

.
Every medicianl organization produces a huge no of medicines. But out of these a large part doesn’t reach the user. This is because there is no perfection in them. To avoid there has to e another organization that checks the products that are being prouced. And in fact ther is: The FDA(food and drugs administration) is one of these organizations. However it is a very difficult task to get approval from the FDA this is because of the followinf reasons.
.
Cost: Attaining approval from any pharmaceutical company the company must be ready to pay the price in money for the formation of the FDA certificate. The companies prefer to invest their money in research for inventing new medicides and drugs. But this investment will bear no fruit untill and unless it is approved by the FDA. The FDA will not approve of the drug until and unless they meet the FDA guidelines. The FDA is given the job of performing numberous test and the certificate is given only when all the test are passed. These test are very expensive. .
.
Huge Procedure: The tests to approve the medicine don’t take less than 5 years on an average. The FDA has regulations which do not allow it to perform tests back to back. They also need to check whether the medicine is effective on the patins and check its long and short term side effects. These test require the scientists to take their own time and will accept the medine until the are fully satisfied The results take even more time to arrive but it is said that the end results are so great that the wait is worth the price. .
.
The FDA only check the medicine in trms of quality. So if a medical organization invests a lot of time and money in a certain drug/medine, but is not approved by the FDA then all the investment will go in vain. When it comes to food and drug the there are a huge no. of people going to consume it so no risk can be taken what so ever. This is the main reason why the pharmaceutical companyperform their own tests fbefore going to the FDA. In case the FDA continuasly declines various drugs/mediciens given for testing by a certain company they stand a chance of being blacklisted or even loosing their production lisence. These are the reasons why very few companies can gain acceptance from the FDA and can cure diseases once thought incurable. This takes takes a lot of development, research and patience. .
